Hi, I’m Lanae Somes. I’m a nineteen-year-old college student majoring in Broadcasting at Susquehanna University, with a minor in Music Technology. My creative world lives at the intersection of sound, image, and storytelling.

Music is a major part of my life. I play guitar, sing, and create song covers that I share on YouTube, as well as perform live on TikTok. I love experimenting with audio, recording techniques, and live performance, always looking for new ways to connect through sound.

Visual art is just as central to my work. I paint custom clothing, create original artwork, and work with photography. Whether it’s wearable art or captured moments, I’m drawn to pieces that feel expressive, intentional, and personal.

Outside of creating, I love to read and travel. Both inspire my work in different ways. Reading feeds my imagination and storytelling, while traveling shapes how I see people, places, and details, often finding their way back into my music and art.
